3、3、2009 东方日报槟州民青团公共投诉局于日前接获槟岛浸信教会教友投诉，位于教会内（Penang Baptist Church）的排污渠长期严重阻塞，污水连同排泄物源源不绝排向路面，虽然英达丽水有提供抽取服务，但基于抽取的速度无法解决阻塞的严重度，造成污水及排泄物污染周遭环境，臭气熏天，对周边居民健康带来极大影响。
槟州民青团希望区内议员施予援手，并连同市政局前往视察，研究阻塞事件是否为单纯排污渠阻塞昂或周边排污系统经已不足于应付日益增加的住户与建筑，如果起因真的是因为基设无法应付时代进步所带来的后果，民青团促请该区议员应当联合市政局官员认真看待民生问题，寻思良策提升设备以提供居民良好的居住环境。
